Dr. Ashley Dennis began her veterinary career by working at veterinary clinics in Jefferson County, TN while she was in high school.  She enjoyed the veterinary environment and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 2015. She joined Appalachian Veterinary Hospital, as an Associate Veterinarian, immediately following graduation. Since joining our hospital, she’s become quite interested in treating surgical and internal medicine cases. She has a great enthusiasm for veterinary medicine and enjoys the day to day challenges and excitement that veterinary medicine brings.

Dr. Dennis grew up in Dandridge, TN and is proud of the fact that she is helping pets near the community where she was raised.   Her interests include travel, reading and just “being outside”.  She is active in her local church and enjoys spending her free time with family, her 2 dogs and a cat.
